Managed Services Eligibility Policy

Managed Services is a continuous protection and monitoring program, not an on-demand support service.

  • Monthly service requires an active subscription and valid payment method.
  • Accounts with failed or canceled payments receive a 30-day grace period to update billing information.
  • At the conclusion of the grace period, a final termination notice is issued and Managed Services coverage ends.
  • Once a Managed Services account has been terminated, it is not eligible for reinstatement.
  • Former Managed Services clients may continue to receive support through per-incident or project-based services.
  • Click a Nerd reserves the right to refuse reinstatement of Managed Services coverage to previously terminated accounts.

Managed Services is designed to provide continuous monitoring, maintenance, patching, security oversight, and proactive support. Clients who discontinue coverage assume responsibility for ongoing maintenance and security during periods when service is inactive.

Important Service Notice

Security incidents, ransomware events, fraud, unauthorized remote access, malware infections, data loss, banking restrictions, account lockouts, or other cybersecurity events occurring after cancellation of Managed Services are the responsibility of the system owner.

Upon termination of Managed Services, monitoring, maintenance, patch management, security oversight, backup verification, and proactive response services are no longer being provided.

Former clients seeking assistance after termination may request per-incident or project-based support subject to technician availability and standard service rates.
